China's Bus Export Sales Ranking for H1 2025 Released!
According to the latest data from China Bus Statistics Information Network, China's export volume of buses (over 3.5 meters) totaled 35,591 units in the first half of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 29.18%. In June alone, the industry exported 7,335 units, up 28.17% year-on-year and 7.73% month-on-month.
Both the monthly year-on-year and month-on-year growth in June, as well as the cumulative year-on-year growth for the first half, show positive momentum. Notably, this growth occurred against a high base from the same period last year, strongly demonstrating the importance of exports in driving industry sales and highlighting the strong international competitiveness of Chinese-manufactured buses.

Six companies achieved both YoY and MoM growth ("double growth") in June, including Yutong, Xiamen Golden Dragon, Ankai, Zhongtong Bus, and CRRC Electric Vehicle.
**First Half (H1): Yutong Leads, "Golden Dragons" Take 2nd & 3rd, Ankai Wins YoY Growth Crown**
The industry's total export volume for January-June was 35,591 units, a year-on-year increase of 29.18%.
Yutong Bus took the H1 crown with total exports of 6,020 units and a 16.91% market share. It climbed 2 spots compared to the end of May and increased its market share by 3.23 percentage points.
Xiamen Golden Dragon (XMQ) ranked second with total exports of 5,852 units (up 56.43% YoY), holding a 16.44% market share, closely trailing the leader.
Golden Bus (Jinlv/Golden Dragon Bus - Xiamen) ranked third with exports of 4,963 units (up 73.59% YoY) and a 13.94% market share.
Among the top 10 exporters for H1, 8 companies achieved year-on-year growth. Ankai Bus recorded the highest H1 YoY growth at 129.48%. Benefiting from its remarkable performance with significant growth in both YoY and MoM in June, Ankai Bus also surged from 9th place at the end of May to 6th for H1.
Looking at the export landscape: Only the champion, Yutong Bus, surpassed 6,000 units, achieving an average monthly export of 1,000 units. The pattern seen in the first four and five months, where the "two Golden Dragons took turns leading," was broken by Yutong. However, the total sales gap between the leader (Yutong) and the runner-up (Xiamen Golden Dragon) is only 168 units, averaging just 28 units per month, indicating significant potential for change in the industry ranking.
The half-year mark is only the midpoint. The final standings at year-end will depend on the efforts of the enterprises in the second half!
